•A thief stole a 700-gram silver crown, valued at Rs 1.84 lakh, from the Yellamma Devi temple in Yerawada, Pune.
•The incident occurred on Friday, February 20, causing concern among devotees.
•Pune police, led by Senior Police Inspector Ravindra Kadam, launched an immediate investigation.
•Utilizing CCTV footage and technical analysis, police identified and apprehended the accused, Shivram Papa Kale (47), within 24 hours.
•The stolen silver crown was recovered, and legal action against the accused is underway.
