Pune to get 121 Cr flyover at Mahatma Phule Chowk; Metro & bridge on same route

• Pune Municipal Corporation approves Rs 120.11 crore flyover at Mahatma Phule Chowk to ease traffic.
• The project targets traffic congestion in Mundhwa, Keshavnagar, and Kharadi areas.
• It will be a double-decker structure with vehicles on the lower level and a metro line above.
• The flyover will be 1,080 meters long (main bridge 796 meters) and 16 meters wide with dual lanes.
• Construction aims for completion in 24 months, excluding monsoon, with 36 pillars including 8 in riverbed.
