Pune Water Cut: Half of Pune to Face Complete Water Shutdown on January 29
- •Pune residents urged to store water as half of the city will experience a complete water supply shutdown on Thursday, January 29.
- •The shutdown is due to urgent electrical and maintenance work at various water treatment plants and pumping stations.
- •Areas affected include Central Pune (Peths, Deccan, Shivajinagar), Parvati and Bibwewadi, Sinhagad Road, Kondhwa, Nagar Road, and West Pune.
- •Water supply may be late and with low pressure on Friday morning (January 30) following the shutdown.
- •Repair work will be conducted at Parvati, Wadgaon, Lashkar, Warje, Holkar, Chikhali water centers, Rajiv Gandhi Pumping Station, and Khadakwasla Jackwell.
