Pune's 'Tuk-Tuk' Gang Busted: Two Arrested for Signal Thefts, Confess to Multiple Crimes

•Pune Crime Branch arrested Ravi Omprakash Kohli (38) and Afzal Qayyum Abbasi (38), members of the notorious 'Tuk-Tuk' gang.
•The gang's modus operandi involved rear-ending cars or tapping on windows at signals to distract drivers.
•They would then steal mobile phones, laptops, bags, and cash from the vehicle while the driver was distracted.
•The arrests followed an investigation by Crime Branch Unit-1, based on CCTV footage and secret information.
•Accused, originally from Uttar Pradesh (Meerut), confessed to several thefts in Pune; police urge driver caution.
