FM Sitharaman Boosts SWAMIH Fund with ₹650 Crore Allocation in Budget
- •Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman allocated ₹650 crore to the SWAMIH Investment Fund in the Union Budget 2026-27.
- •SWAMIH, launched in November 2019, is India's largest residential stress-resolution platform, reviving stalled projects through last-mile financing.
- •The fund has committed its entire corpus, spanning over 145 projects across 30 cities, and aims to deliver over 1 lakh homes, benefiting 4 lakh homebuyers.
- •So far, 61,000 homes have been delivered across 110 projects, including 7,000+ units for EWS/rehabilitation beneficiaries.
