Bangladesh Urges Pakistan to Play T20 World Cup Match Against India: BCB

• The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has requested Pakistan to reverse its decision and play the T20 World Cup match against India on February 15 in Colombo.
• Pakistan had announced a boycott of the match after discussions between PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi and PM Shehbaz Sharif, citing support for Bangladesh.
• BCB President Md Aminul Islam stated, "I request Pakistan to play the ICC T20 World Cup game on 15 February against India for the benefit of the entire cricket ecosystem."
• Naqvi is expected to make a public announcement after briefing PM Sharif on the latest developments and communications with other cricket boards and the ICC.
• Sri Lanka and Emirates cricket boards have also urged Pakistan to reconsider its decision.
