•BCCI announced Annual Player Contracts for 2025-26 season (Oct 1, 2025 - Sep 30, 2026).
•Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma demoted to Grade B; A+ category scrapped due to retirements in two formats.
•Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja placed in the highest Grade A category.
•Previous A+ category players received Rs 7 crore; Grade A Rs 5 crore, Grade B Rs 3 crore, Grade C Rs 1 crore.
•Women's cricket contracts: Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma in Grade A (Rs 50 lakh).
