•Cristo Fernández, known as Dani Rojas in 'Ted Lasso', is pursuing a professional football career.
•He recently trialed with El Paso Locomotive FC (USL Championship) and played 30 minutes in a friendly match.
•Fernández has a background in youth football in Mexico, playing in lower divisions and Puerto Rico's top flight before a knee injury led him to acting.
•He also trained with Chicago Fire II (MLS Next Pro) earlier this year, reportedly scoring in a friendly.
