Indian Open 2026: First IPA-Affiliated PWR 1000 Event Announced

•The Indian Open 2026, organized by Global Sports, will be the first Indian Pickleball Association (IPA)-sanctioned PWR 1000 event.
•Scheduled from April 1st to 5th, 2026, at Crosscourts, Hyderabad, it will feature over 1500 participants competing for a USD 50,000 prize pool across 56 categories.
•This landmark alliance between IPA and Global Sports integrates the nation's largest private tournament series into the official national governance framework.
•IPA President Suryaveersingh Bhullar emphasized the partnership's role in providing a world-class platform governed by integrity and excellence.
•Global Sports Co-Founder Shashank Khaitan stated this move aims to make India a global hub for pickleball, offering official player pathways and elite competition standards.
