Gauff Makes History in Miami: Completes WTA 1000 Set, Reaches Quarterfinals

•Coco Gauff battled past Sorana Cirstea in a three-setter to reach the Miami Open quarterfinals.
•With this win, Gauff has now reached the quarterfinals or better at all 10 WTA 1000 events.
•The 20-year-old moved into second place for most WTA 1000 quarterfinal appearances before turning 23, surpassing Sharapova and Kuznetsova.
•Gauff overcame a wobble in the second set, losing five straight games, but stormed back in the third.
•She closed out the match in just under two hours and will face Belinda Bencic next.
