Indian Govt Warns Desktop Chrome Users of High-Severity Security Threat

Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) issued a high-severity alert for Google Chrome users.
•
Vulnerabilities include Heap buffer overflows in PDFium and Media, and Integer overflow in V8.
•
Exploitation allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code, cause memory corruption, or trigger DoS.
•
Affected versions are prior to 145.0.7632.109/110 for Windows/Mac and 144.0.7559.109 for Linux.
•
Users must update Chrome immediately via Settings > About > Update Chrome to mitigate risks.
