Vande Bharat Express Stone Pelting: Youth Arrested in Kalyan, Admits Narcotics Use

•A 23-year-old youth, Sunny Kamble, was arrested by Kalyan RPF police for pelting stones at the Vande Bharat Express near Kalyan railway station.
•The incident on Friday targeted four coaches (C-1, C-3, C-4, C-7), causing broken window panes and an estimated damage of Rs 20,650.
•Kamble, a resident of Shukrawar Peth, Pune, confessed to being under the influence of narcotics and intended to scare passengers.
•He was apprehended near Tulsi Building, Patripul bridge, Kalyan, following a joint search operation by RPF and Crime Intelligence Branch.
•A case has been registered under sections 153 and 147 of the Railway Act; Kamble is in judicial custody at Adharwadi Jail.
