PM Modi to Inaugurate Noida International Airport on March 28

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Phase I of the Noida International Airport on March 28, 2026, built at an estimated cost of Rs 11,200 crore.
• The airport, located in Gautam Buddha Nagar along the Yamuna Expressway, will be NCR's second international airport, easing congestion at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
• Phase I will handle 12 million passengers annually, with long-term expansion capacity up to 70 million passengers per year, making it a major aviation hub.
• It features modern infrastructure, advanced landing systems, and all-weather operations, with initial cargo capacity of over 2.5 lakh metric tonnes annually.
• The project is expected to boost Uttar Pradesh's economy, create jobs, attract investments, and enhance global connectivity, contributing to the state's GDP.
