EC Expands Election Webcasting: Cameras Outside Booths for First Time!

• Election Commission announced webcasting will now cover areas outside polling booths for the upcoming Assembly elections.
• This marks the first instance of webcasting being implemented outside election booths in the state.
• Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar had earlier stated webcasting would be arranged inside every booth.
• Each booth will feature two cameras: one positioned inside and another outside the polling area.
