MP Doctors Perform 18 Remote Surgeries, Internet Jokes ‘Work From Home’

•Madhya Pradesh doctors conducted 18 inter-hospital telesurgeries, a major technological milestone in Indian healthcare.
•Procedures were performed on February 14, 2026, between Mohak Bariatric Centre + IRCAD India in Indore and Her Health Hospital in Bhopal.
•Using the SSI Mantra–Asana chair/console system, doctors completed 18 reciprocal telesurgeries in eight hours, including 13 gastric bypass and 5 gynecology procedures.
•The achievement has been submitted to and reportedly accepted by the World Book of Records and Limca Book of Records.
•The viral video sparked internet jokes about surgeons doing 'work from home' and discussions on the future of remote surgery.
