• Two winners are from Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and one from Jamaat-e-Islami.
• All three faced serious criminal charges, including death sentences, later set aside.
• BNP leaders Lutfozzaman Babar and Abdus Salam Pintu, and Jamaat-e-Islami's ATM Azharul Islam are the winners.
• Pintu was accused of supporting Pakistan-based Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI), linked to attacks in India.
