• Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) won one seat in Bangladesh's 13th general election, secured by Andaleeb Rahman Partho from Bhola-1.
• The Election Commission announced results for 297 seats; BNP and its allies secured 212 seats, with BNP alone winning 209.
• Andaleeb Rahman Partho, a politician, academic, and lawyer, previously served as an MP from Bhola-1 and is Principal of the British School of Law in Dhaka.
• Partho defeated Jamaat candidate MD Nazrul Islam on the Bhola-1 seat, receiving 1,05,543 votes.
• He promised to develop Bhola into a modern city, focusing on infrastructure, medical college, gas connections, and curbing drug abuse.
