FBI Quadruples Reward for Ten Most Wanted, Adds First Cyber Fugitive
•FBI increases reward money to US $1 million for tip-offs on its Ten Most Wanted list fugitives, a four-fold hike from the previous $250,000.
•The list now includes Anibal Aguirre, the first-ever cyber fugitive, wanted for leading an international ATM jackpotting scheme linked to the TdA terrorist organization.
•Indian national Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel remains on the list, sought for the 2015 murder of his wife in Maryland; he is considered "armed and extremely dangerous."
•Three new fugitives were added last week, with one, Samuel Ramirez Jr., already apprehended in Mexico due to a community tip-off.
•The Ten Most Wanted Fugitives program, established in 1950, boasts a 93% success rate, with public tips contributing to 163 apprehensions.
