Germany Rejects Middle East Troop Boost Amid Allied Deployments

•Germany states it has no plans to send additional military support to the Middle East.
•Decision follows European allies (Italy, Spain, France, Netherlands) deploying naval assets to protect Cyprus after a drone strike.
•Britain is also sending a destroyer and helicopters with anti-drone capabilities, boosting air defences with France and Greece.
•Germany's military focus remains on NATO defence operations in Eastern Europe, despite its UNIFIL mission in Lebanon.
•Defence Minister Boris Pistorius reiterated that Germany is not a party to the war and the Bundeswehr is not participating.
