EAM Jaishankar, Iranian FM Discuss Safe Passage, Energy Security Amid West Asia Conflict

•EAM S Jaishankar held three calls with Iranian FM on safe passage of ships through Strait of Hormuz and India's energy security.
•MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated it's premature to comment on reports of Iran allowing Indian ships through the Strait.
•India is facilitating the safe return of approximately 9,000 Indian nationals, including students and seafarers, from Iran.
•PM Narendra Modi emphasized dialogue, diplomacy, civilian safety, and Indian diaspora welfare in talks with Gulf leaders.
•India received requests for diesel supplies from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Maldives amid the West Asia crisis.
