A 25-year-old physically challenged Hindu woman was allegedly abducted and gangraped in Chandpur, Bangladesh, after attending a kirtan.

The victim identified three accused: Rakib, Sohail, and Russel; no arrests have been made, sparking anger among the local minority community.

In a separate incident, Amitabh Chandra Sujan, a 40-year-old lawyer's assistant, was hacked to death in his home in Gaibandha Sadar Upazila.

These incidents follow a pattern of violence against Hindus, with 11 murders recorded in one month and 116 in seven months before the election.
