India Joins Gaza Board of Peace as Observer: Key Role in Post-Conflict Stability
- •India attended the first meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace in Washington as an Observer, represented by Chargé d’Affaires to the US, Namgya C Khampa.
- •The White House invited 50 countries, with 26 joining as founding members of the board.
- •The group, launched at the World Economic Forum, aims to manage Gaza post-conflict, supporting stabilization, reconstruction, and civilian governance.
- •Five countries (Indonesia, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Albania) have committed troops to an International Stabilization Force (ISF) for Gaza.
- •Indonesia will take a deputy commander role in the ISF, and Morocco will also contribute troops.
