Iran arrests 10 'foreign spies' amid West Asia conflict, ramps up counterespionage

•Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) arrested 10 'foreign spies' in Razavi Khorasan province.
•Four of the arrested were gathering information on 'sensitive sites and economic infrastructure'; others linked to a 'monarchist terrorist group'.
•This follows the arrest of 20 individuals in West Azerbaijan province suspected of collaborating with Israel.
•The 20 suspects allegedly passed detailed location information of Iran’s military, police, and security facilities to Israel.
•A drone and rocket attack targeted the US embassy in Baghdad; US President Donald Trump urged allies to secure the Strait of Hormuz.
