A Reuters/Ipsos poll found only 27% of Americans approve of the recent US strikes that killed Iran's leader.

About half of Americans, including 23% of Republicans, believe President Donald Trump is too willing to use military force.
•
56% of Americans think Trump is too willing to use military force to advance U.S. interests.
•
42% of Republicans would be less likely to support the Iran campaign if it results in U.S. troop casualties.
•
45% of respondents, including 34% of Republicans, would oppose the campaign if gas or oil prices increase.
