Pakistan bombs fuel depot near Kandahar airport, Taliban alleges

Afghan Taliban states Pakistan bombed Kam Air's fuel depot near Kandahar airport on Friday (March 13).
•
The attack marks a flare-up in the worst conflict between the South Asian neighbors in years.
•
Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed Kam Air supplies fuel to civilian airlines and UN aircraft.
•
Mujahid also alleged Pakistan bombed other areas, including Kabul, targeting civilian homes and causing casualties.
•
The conflict, which began in February with Pakistani air strikes, had seen recent mediation efforts by China.
