Poland to Mass Produce 'Mark 1' Anti-Drone Missiles with Estonia, Ukraine as Testbed

Poland and Estonian company Frankenberg Technologies to produce 10,000 'Mark 1' anti-drone missiles annually.

Mark 1 is an affordable 'Fire-and-Forget' solution designed to neutralize UAVs, including Shahed drones.

The missile has a range of 2 km and an altitude of 1.5 km, using an optoelectronic homing head and glass fragment warhead.

Live tests of Mark 1 are expected in Ukraine between April and June 2026 to gather combat feedback.

Future plans include the Mark 2 missile with an extended range of 5-8 km, enhancing air defense capabilities.
