Donald Trump warns of 'sweeping strikes' on Iran's energy infrastructure if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened.
•
He stated the US is in 'serious discussions' with a 'new, and more reasonable' Iranian regime to end military operations.
•
Trump threatened to obliterate electric plants, oil wells, Kharg Island, and possibly desalinization plants if a deal isn't reached.
•
In an interview, Trump also raised the possibility of seizing Iran's oil resources.
•
Iran dismissed US proposals as 'unrealistic, illogical and excessive' and is reviewing exit from Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
