35 Odisha Tourists Stranded in Dubai Amid West Asia Conflict Return Home Safely

35 tourists from Odisha, stranded in Dubai due to flight cancellations amid the West Asia conflict, have safely returned home.
•
Nine tourists returned via Kochi on March 7, while the remaining arrived in Bhubaneswar via Mumbai on March 8 on an Air India Express flight.
•
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi directed Chief Secretary Anu Garg to monitor and facilitate the return of Odia people from West Asia.
•
The state government has received around 200 calls from Odia people in the West Asia region.
•
So far, 65,000 Indians have returned from Gulf nations through special flights.
