India Rushes Repatriation from Middle East; Airlines Deploy Special Flights

Air India deployed high-capacity Boeing 777, 787-9, 787-8 aircraft for Jeddah and Dubai routes on March 3-4 to repatriate citizens.
•
Return flights are expected to operate at full capacity, prioritizing the safety and care of passengers and crew.
•
Air India Express continues Muscat flights but suspends operations to Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE until March 4, 2026 (IST).
•
IndiGo has also initiated repatriation flights to Jeddah and Muscat, planning 13 return flights to various destinations including Medina and Athens.
•
Passengers are advised to check flight status, avoid airport without confirmation, and utilize rebooking/refund options and airport helpdesks.
