6 Police Killed in Pakistan IED Blast; CM Condemns Attack in Lakki Marwat
•
Six police personnel were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast targeting their vehicle in Lakki Marwat district, northwest Pakistan.
•
The incident occurred on Friday in the Shadi Khel Bettani area near the Rasool Khel check post.
•
SHO Azam, police driver Shah Bahram, and four other police personnel died on the spot; one policeman, Insafuddin, sustained serious injuries.
•
Security forces cordoned off the area, launched a search operation, and tightened security following the attack.
•
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi condemned the blast, sought a detailed report, and directed medical aid for the injured.
