7 Chhattisgarh Officers Promoted to IAS; Himachal Pradesh Transfers 5 IAS Officers
- •Seven State Civil Service (SCS) officers from Chhattisgarh have been promoted to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) by the Centre.
- •The appointments fill vacancies for 2024 and were made under the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954.
- •Promoted officers include Sumit Agrawal, Sandeep Kumar Agrawal, Tirthraj Agrawal, Leena Kosam, Saumil Ranjan Chaubey, Birendra Bahadur Panchbhai, and Ashish Kumar Tikariha.
- •All promoted officers are appointed on probation and allocated to the Chhattisgarh cadre.
- •Separately, the Himachal Pradesh government issued transfer and posting orders for five IAS officers, including Ashish Singhamar appointed Secretary to the Chief Minister.
