AAI earmarks Rs 3,490 Cr for Air Navigation Modernization, ATM Automation

•Airports Authority of India (AAI) allocates Rs 3,490 crore for upgrading air navigation infrastructure.
•Rs 1,532 crore specifically designated for automation of Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems at airports.
•Modernization aims to meet growing air traffic demand and enhance Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS/ATM) infrastructure.
•AAI is engaging IIT Madras as a consultant to strengthen cybersecurity for OT/IT systems at its airports.
•AAI has recruited 2,341 technical personnel in the last three years to ensure operational safety and service continuity.
