Andhra Govt to Offer Free Electricity to Weavers, Powerlooms from Wednesday

• Expected to benefit one lakh handloom families and 11,488 powerloom units, costing Rs 150 crore annually.
• NDA alliance government also increased weavers' pension, allocated thrift funds, and offered machinery subsidies.
