Bengal HS Semester Exams Begin Feb 12: 7.10 Lakh Candidates, Enhanced Security

• West Bengal Class 12 board examinations to be held from February 12 to February 27.
• Approximately 7.10 lakh candidates will appear for the exams.
• Enhanced security measures include mandatory CCTV surveillance at all 2,100 exam centres.
• Around 7,000 invigilators from primary, upper primary, and secondary schools will be deployed due to teachers' involvement in electoral roll revision.
• Exams will be conducted offline; mobile phones, calculators, and smartwatches are prohibited.
