•Protesters from 'Sangrami Joutha Mancha' demanded a significant pay hike, provident fund, and gratuity benefits.
•Para-teachers currently earn between Rs 9,000 and Rs 10,000 monthly, seeking an increase to Rs 15,000-20,000.
•They criticized the Rs 1,000 hike announced in the state’s vote-on-account as insufficient.
•The forum also requested relief from election duties, aligning with state government teachers.
