Bengaluru Police Seize Rs 8.19 Crore Drugs, Arrest 1,217 in Anti-Drug Drive

• Bengaluru Police seized narcotics worth Rs 8.19 crore between January 1 and February 7.
• A total of 1,217 individuals were arrested, including 179 drug peddlers and 1,038 users.
• Seizures included 278.35 kg ganja, 8.918 kg hydro ganja, and 2.493 kg synthetic drugs.
• Police verified 3,227 rowdies and 572 NDPS accused as part of preventive measures.
• Over 8,000 establishments were inspected to prevent misuse for drug-related activities.
