Bike-borne robbers throw chili powder, decamp with Rs 1 crore in Hyderabad

•Two men were robbed of Rs 1 crore by bike-borne assailants who threw chili powder in their eyes in Hyderabad.
•The incident occurred in Kukatpally police station limits on Monday night.
•Three of the five to six suspects involved in the robbery were apprehended at the airport, and some stolen cash was recovered.
•The victims were riding a two-wheeler when the accused sprinkled chili powder, causing them to fall before fleeing with the cash.
•Police suspect the money is linked to ‘hawala’ transactions; further investigation is ongoing.
