Cargo Matters to Invest Rs 100 Cr in AP for EV Manufacturing & Charging Hub

Logistics firm Cargo Matters will invest Rs 100 crore to establish an EV manufacturing and charging hub in Andhra Pradesh.
•
The facility, under an MoU with the state government, will include charger production, heavy vehicle electrification retrofit, and an R&D unit.
•
Rs 50 crore of the total investment is specifically allocated for charging infrastructure to support regional heavy-duty electric corridors.
•
A Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been submitted to APIIC for 18 acres of industrial land in Madanapalle, AP.
•
The project aims to create 1,000 direct and 3,000 indirect jobs, aligning with the Andhra Pradesh Sustainable Electric Mobility Policy 4.0.
