Chhattisgarh to Host First Khelo India Tribal Games from Wednesday

• Chhattisgarh will host the inaugural 10-day 'Khelo India Tribal Games' starting Wednesday, featuring approximately 3,800 athletes.
• Deputy CM Arun Sao described the games as a "milestone" for Indian sports, boosting the state's sports ecosystem and infrastructure.
• Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and CM Vishnu Deo Sai will attend the inaugural ceremony at Science College Ground in Raipur.
• The games will include archery, athletics, football, hockey, swimming, weightlifting, wrestling, and demonstration sports like mallakhamb and kabaddi.
• Competitions will be held in Raipur, Jagdalpur, and Surguja, concluding on April 3, with 106 gold medals up for grabs.
