CM Rekha Gupta Launches Anti-Pollution Drive, Boosts Animal Welfare in Delhi

• Delhi CM Rekha Gupta initiated a comprehensive campaign against air pollution, following the Green Budget of 2026-27.
• The Air Pollution Mitigation Action Plan – 2026 aims for clean, green, and sustainable urban development.
• For the first time, all 13 districts in Delhi will have a ‘Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals’ (SPCA).
• Dilapidated veterinary hospitals are being rebuilt with doctors, medicines, and proper systems.
• The Delhi Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (DSPCA) will be dissolved to streamline animal welfare under the new district-level SPCAs.
