CM Sukhu Directs Retention of Lien for CBSE Teachers, Expedites Affiliation

•Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu directed the education department to expedite CBSE affiliation for government schools.
•140 government schools were chosen for CBSE affiliation, with 99 already securing it for the next academic session.
•CM Sukhu ordered the retention of lien for teachers in CBSE-affiliated schools to protect their promotional avenues.
•Service conditions for principals in CBSE schools were relaxed, reducing the remaining service requirement from three to two years.
•CM Sukhu will personally monitor academic standards and reviewed the 'No Mobile Phone Policy' effective March 1.
