DeepTech Hackathon Ignites India's Semiconductor & AI Innovation, Winners Announced

IESA, GlobalFoundries, NXP Semiconductors, and i4C announced DeepTech Hackathon winners at IESA Vision Summit 2026.

The hackathon aimed to foster innovation and talent in semiconductor and AI, crucial for India's self-reliant ecosystem.

Participants developed AI-enabled EDA workflows for "Edge AI based Defect Classification System for Semiconductor Images."
•
The competition attracted 911 teams from 359 colleges, with 532 high-quality idea submissions.
•
Chennai Institute of Technology won the top prize of Rs. 1,00,000, followed by Ramco Institute of Technology and IIT Indore.
