DRI Seizes Tiger Nails, Canine Teeth from Two Traffickers in Hyderabad

• The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized seven tiger nails and three tiger canine teeth in Nampally, Hyderabad.
• Two traffickers were intercepted on February 9 based on specific information about illegal wildlife trade.
• The seized items, appearing to be parts of a tiger, were found in a zip-lock pouch in one suspect's backpack.
• The wildlife articles, along with packing material and bags, were seized under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
• The traffickers and recovered items were handed over to Telangana State Forest officials for further investigation.
