EC to publish draft voter rolls for 3 states, 2 UTs on Tuesday

• Draft electoral rolls for West Bengal, Rajasthan, Goa, Puducherry, and Lakshadweep will be published on Tuesday, December 15.
• The publication is part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision of voters' lists.
• Chief Electoral Officers (CEOs) and District Election Officers (DEOs) will share hard copies with political parties and upload the rolls online.
• Lists of absent, shifted, dead, and duplicate electors will also be uploaded on CEO and DEO websites.
• The Election Commission had extended the timeline for the Special Intensive Revision in other states and UTs, including Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar, and Kerala, resulting in later draft roll publication dates for those regions.
