ECI Full Bench Arrives in Assam for 3-Day Poll Preparedness Review

• The full bench of the Election Commission of India (ECI), led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, arrived in Guwahati for a three-day visit.
• The visit aims to review preparedness for the forthcoming assembly polls in Assam.
• The poll panel will meet political party leaders, regulatory authorities, district election officers, and superintendents of police.
• CEC Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, was received by Assam Chief Electoral Officer Anurag Goel.
• Separate meetings are scheduled with the chief secretary, home secretary, DGP, and other senior state officials; a media address is planned for February 18.
