Elephant Rescued from 20-Foot Well in Jharkhand's Khunti After 3-Hour Operation

A sub-adult elephant fell into a 20-foot well in Serengdih village, Khunti district, Jharkhand.
•
The rescue operation by the forest department lasted approximately three hours on Monday.
•
Divisional Forest Officer Dilip Kumar Yadav confirmed the elephant was safely rescued.
•
The forest team had been trying to drive the wild elephant out of the urban area since 9 am.
•
The elephant sustained injury marks in one eye, and efforts are ongoing to keep it in a nearby forest.
