Jharkhand: Elephant Squad Vehicle Collides with Truck, 2 Killed, 10 Injured

•Two members of an elephant driving squad were killed and 10 others injured in a head-on collision with a truck in Hazaribag, Jharkhand.
•The accident occurred near Purnapani village on NH-20 in the Charhi police station area on Saturday night.
•The 12-member squad, mostly from West Bengal’s Bankura district, was searching for a herd of five elephants responsible for seven deaths on Friday.
•Deceased identified as Pintu Modi (30) from Bankura and Shahadat Hussain (60) from Charhi, Hazaribag.
•One injured person was referred to RIMS-Ranchi, while nine are being treated at Sadar Hospital in Hazaribag.
