Fourth Accused Arrested in Naval Info Leak Case, Pakistan Link Suspected

• Udupi police arrested Alif Islam (21) from West Bengal, the fourth accused in a naval information leak case.
• Islam was residing in Idukki, Kerala, and is suspected of leaking a confidential list of Indian naval vessel identification numbers.
• Accused allegedly shared sensitive information via WhatsApp and Facebook with contacts in Pakistan.
• The case was registered in 2025 at Malpe police station; two accused from Uttar Pradesh and one from Gujarat were previously arrested.
• Investigators suspect Islam may be a Bangladeshi national, and efforts are underway to verify his citizenship.
