Global Shares Rebound as Trump Hints at Possible End to Iran War

Global benchmarks mostly rebounded Tuesday after President Donald Trump hinted at talks with Iran regarding a possible end to their war.
•
European markets saw gains, with France's CAC 40 up 0.4% and Germany's DAX up 0.2%.

Asian markets also rallied, with Japan's Nikkei 225 adding 1.4%, South Korea's Kospi up 2.7%, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng jumping 2.8%.

Toyota Motor Corp. stock gained 0.6% following its announcement of a $1 billion investment in US auto plants.

Oil prices rose, with US crude gaining $1.34 and Brent crude adding $1.00, despite Iran denying any such talks took place.
