Sensex Soars 550+ Points as Trump Signals West Asia De-escalation, Oil Prices Plunge

Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 opened sharply higher, driven by signals of de-escalation in the West Asia conflict.

Global crude prices plunged over 6% after Donald Trump suggested the conflict involving Iran could end sooner than expected.

Sensex jumped 578.41 points (0.75%) to 78,144.57, while Nifty 50 rose 164.95 points (0.69%) to 24,193 in early trade.
